About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Manager to join our team at Careers@Gov.

As a Strategic Financial Manager, you will serve as a business partner for strategic & operational financial and procurement planning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide decision support for projects and new initiatives, including procurement advisory to achieve value for money in project outcomes.

* Improve the monthly spend analysis to enhance governance, results and increase operational efficiencies in procurement.

* Support the development of financial plans and procurement approaches, including long-term projections, budgets, and forecasts.

Requirements:

* Training in relevant work areas or equivalent professional qualification

* At least 5 years of solid experience in procurement, with a track record in supervision

* Independent, resourceful, energetic, proactive, results-oriented leader and team player

* Strong thinking and analytical skills

* Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills

* Good project management and decision support skills

* Conversant with integrated software applications

What We Offer:

* Appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience

* Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal
