Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Drafting Specialist to join our team. As a skilled professional in the production of structural and architectural shop drawings, you will utilize current and existing AutoCAD and REVIT software to create precise 3D models and detailed drawings.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, with excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. You will be responsible for producing high-quality shop drawings, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create complex 3D models and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of shop drawings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of construction methods and materials to ensure precision in drafting work.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for efficient and effective drafting processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in drafting and design.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in drafting and design.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the construction/building industry is advantageous.
