Job Title: Data Collection Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to gather and document data from various manufacturing processes. This information will be used to support the development of an AI model that predicts colour outcomes in polymer processing.

  • The ideal candidate will record real-time process parameters, track material usage and batch numbers, and perform sample measurements. They will then input this data into Excel or software tools and check for accuracy. Any errors or unusual findings should be reported to the engineering team immediately.
  • In addition to data collection, the successful candidate will collaborate with the team to understand process details, prepare weekly summaries, and create reports for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A background in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential.
  • Familiarity with extrusion, injection molding, or similar manufacturing processes is also required.
  • Prior experience in data collection, quality control, or machine operation is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, basic analysis) is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently following set protocols.
