Job Title: Investment Portfolio Manager

Overview:

As a key member of the portfolio management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Group CFO in the assessment of new investment opportunities and tracking the Group's valuation. You will also be involved in strategic scenario planning, identification of group funding gaps, and simulation of projected returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the review of new investment business cases from a portfolio returns and functional assurance perspective.
  2. Support markets to develop investment papers and shape their country portfolio position with new growth to existing assets.
  3. Perform independent post-investment reviews for completed projects.
  4. Review key investment benchmarks, including hurdle rate, peer evaluation, financial and debt ratio targets, and ensure they reflect the latest market conditions.
  5. Conduct periodic internal valuations and review external valuation analyses of the Group to identify avenues to uplift shareholder value.
  6. Operate, maintain, and update the portfolio model to track its performance.
  7. Prepare portfolio performance updates for Management (quarterly) and Board (as required).
  8. Support the development and analysis of funding/capital structure to make recommendations on equity capitalization options to the Group CFO and advise the Group Treasury on debt financing gaps.
  9. Work with the Group FPA to incorporate budget and forecast to ensure consistent updating of BAU data in the portfolio model.
  10. Develop and update growth plans with the Group Strategy, Markets Heads, and Group CFO for the yearly budget and Board Strategy Planning/Review.
  11. Guide fellow team members on technical subject matters related to corporate finance and financial modeling.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot), Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of accounting and group consolidation concepts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in generated output.
  • Self-motivated and proactive to take initiative and work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude to tackle complex problems.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
