E&M (Electrical & Mechanical) Design Coordinator
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Systems Coordinator to join our team at CHINA JINGYE ENGINEERING CORPORATION LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of electrical and mechanical systems for LTA infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with 5-8 years of experience in E&M design coordination, particularly in infrastructure or transport-related projects. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of E&M systems with other project elements.
A key aspect of this role is ensuring that E&M designs comply with local regulations, LTA standards, and project specifications. The successful candidate will conduct regular design reviews, resolving any discrepancies or technical challenges that arise. They will also be responsible for managing and tracking the progress of E&M design deliverables, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee the design of electrical and mechanical systems for LTA infrastructure projects
- Ensure that E&M designs comply with local regulations, LTA standards, and project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of E&M systems with other project elements
- Conduct design reviews, resolving any discrepancies or technical challenges
- Manage and track the progress of E&M design deliverables, ensuring timely completion
- Assist in resolving on-site technical issues related to E&M systems
- Prepare regular reports on the progress of E&M designs and updates for the project management team
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in E&M design coordination, particularly in infrastructure or transport-related projects
- Experience working on LTA projects or other government-regulated transport infrastructure projects is highly desirable
