We aim to build a community of seniors that promotes mutual social cohesion and maintains their health and mental wellness.

Our team is passionate about contributing to the positive aging of seniors as they age meaningfully and healthily.

We are seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to plan and coordinate day-to-day programmes, guide volunteers, and work with other organizations to execute initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and manage engagement programmes (workshops, educational talks, festive events) for seniors at designated neighbourhood touchpoints.
  • Allocate resources, recruit seniors, volunteers, and partners for programmes, and plan publicity for such events.
  • Supervise and train volunteers/partners in running approved programmes, provide administrative support, and conduct home or hospital visits.
  • Monitor seniors' health and wellness, make referrals to appropriate agencies, and communicate with next of kin.
  • Manage Alert Alarm System, SC phone, and its maintenance.
  • Conduct community outreach within the service area and perform needs assessment to identify gaps in senior services.

Requirements

· Higher Diploma or Diploma in Gerontology, ITE NITEC in Community Care and Social Services, or Diploma in Social Enterprise/Entrepreneurship

· Ability to train volunteers in creative arts, baking, cooking, singing, music instruments, florist, and live streaming for senior programmes.

· Host or deliver programmes for 10-80 seniors.

· Familiarity with data-entry and administration preferred.

· Fully conversant and able to translate in Malay, Mandarin, and English; ability to converse in Hokkien/Teochew beneficial due to clients being seniors.

· Strong passion in outreach and community work with seniors.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
