Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of projects within Illumina's Singapore operations, from initiation to closure. This role will lead and facilitate the implementation and sustainment of our PMO governance tools and processes to achieve overall business and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project objectives, project scope, roles, and responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver projects from initiation to closure
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Prepare detailed project plans to schedule key project milestones, workstreams, and activities
  • Drive project execution, monitoring progress, managing risks, and addressing issues to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Track project progress and provide regular reports on project status to project teams and key stakeholders
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule, and/or budget
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Identify and share/exploit opportunities for project teams
  • Manage project teams and provide clear, concise communication to keep teams on track and accountable for project goals while taking responsibility for team successes and failures
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability among project team members, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing
  • Manage relationships and communication with clients and all stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered to meet stakeholders' satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS/BENG degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management or program management office
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional/cross-site programs or projects
  • Strong attention to detail needed for data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams comprising various internal organizations
  • Ability to influence across the organization at all levels
  • Preferred GMP+ ISO 13485, ISO 9001 Standard trained
  • PMP/PRINCE II Certification preferred
  • Experience with business intelligence solutions for data consolidation and analysis
  • Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, and Planisware is a plus
