Job Title

Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing data migration strategies that ensure seamless transfer of data between systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, PowerShell scripting, Databases, and Unix Shell. Additionally, they should possess knowledge in Data Warehousing Domain, RDBMS databases, and different Data Modeling techniques.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing and managing the data migration process;
  • Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts as part of the data migration plan;
  • Work with subject matter experts and project teams to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data migration requirements;
  • Develop best practice processes and standards for effectively carrying out data migration activities;
  • Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping;
  • Migrate and test static data and transaction data from one core system to another;
  • Creation of end-user documentation for the new repository;
  • Attaching metadata to documents by analyzing their content or working with knowledgeable owners or teams;
  • Identification of cost-effective tools that may automate data migration;
  • Updating and maintaining a database of records which index and reference archived documents;
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent;
  • Relevant working experience in ETL, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, PowerShell scripting, Databases, and Unix Shell;
  • Knowledge in the Data Warehousing Domain;
  • Good understanding of RDBMS databases;
  • Good exposure to different Data Modelling techniques;
  • Familiar with Waterfall & Agile methodologies;
  • Strong written and communication skills.
