Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems and infrastructure to support our organization's IT operations.

About the Role:

  • Design and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure tailored to organizational needs.
  • Manage the deployment of applications/services and lead the migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms.
  • Implement and uphold cloud security measures to protect systems and data from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of cloud infrastructure; identify and resolve performance or availability issues.
  • Monitor and manage cloud resource usage to ensure cost-efficiency, including optimization strategies and budget tracking.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate cloud operations, improve workflow efficiency, and reduce manual overhead.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure operations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, and operations.
  • Experience or certification in VMware Tanzu.
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
