Physiotherapy Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapy Lecturer to join our team on a freelance basis. The role is integral in shaping the future of healthcare professionals by providing high-quality training and mentorship to students.

This position involves planning, delivering, and assessing engaging training programs that meet industry standards and align with regulatory requirements.

  • Responsibilities:
  • To plan, deliver, assess, and continuously improve training programs to ensure students meet competency standards.
  • To implement and assess various assessment methods to evaluate student competencies, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and professional standards.
  • To manage, coordinate, and supervise course instructions and assessments effectively, maintaining high training standards.

Secondary Duties:

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To design, develop, and enhance curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and practical training components, meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • To assist in designing and launching new courses and programs to address emerging needs in physiotherapy and healthcare.
  • To regularly review and update existing course content to reflect advancements in physiotherapy practices and align with current healthcare industry needs.
  • Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of physiotherapy principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
  • Proficient in relevant software and educational tools.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a physiotherapy role.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a therapy educator would be advantageous.
  • Personalities:
  • Candidate should possess clear, approachable communication style fostering open dialogue and an engaging learning environment.
  • Ability to pay close attention to details in curriculum development, assessments, and student evaluations.
  • Willingsness to work collaboratively as part of a team contributing positively to the work environment.
  • Openness to ongoing professional development and staying updated on current physiotherapy practices and teaching methodologies.
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving educational needs and changes in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to connect with students, understand their challenges, and provide support with patience and understanding.
