Job Title: Senior Network Security Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team in the design and project delivery of Singtel IT Network Infrastructure, encompassing Routing & Switching, Firewalls, Security Orchestration, Load Balancers, IPAM, Authentication Systems, and SDN.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions align with business requirements and the Infrastructure Enterprise Architecture, meeting Technology Infrastructure (TI) strategic objectives at optimal cost.
  • Manage team functions, including budget management, team management & appraisals, case escalations, network demand management, RCA management, leading meetings & presentations on deliverables and updates to respective supervisors and key stakeholders.
Impact Areas:
  • Produce an integrated solution covering all areas and in line with the TI strategy.
  • Gather infrastructure requirements for all projects with infrastructure deliverables.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure Project Team (SDM) on project engagements.
  • Provide a consensus-based enterprise outcome that is scalable, adaptable, and in line with ever-changing business needs.
  • Produce infra diagrams identifying infrastructure components, including Network infrastructure, Security requirements, and Compute/Storage requirements for the solution.
  • Ensure solutions proposed are in compliance with security and best practices adopted by the industry.
  • Document and communicate Enterprise Infrastructure strategies & standards.
  • Ensure solutions are in compliance and integration with enterprise architecture & Infosec policy for Infrastructure and Security systems by reviewing and advising on new and existing Information Technology projects.
  • Provide advice and guidance to management during planning phases to ensure non-functional requirements are included in the overall specifications.
  • Provide advice and guidance to all areas of IT and Business Management, analysts, SDM, designers, and developers on all aspects of Network & Security infrastructure.
  • Ensure deliverables meet all related engineering, planning, and operational standards.
  • Identify potential network issues and risks, and provide workable technical solutions to mitigate such risks.
  • Document network performance to take proactive and corrective action as needed.
  • Play a major role in the selection of any new IT, infrastructure, or technology solution.
  • Maintain a knowledge base to ensure network intellectual property is retained.
  • Manage all HR-related matters on the team, team appraisals, and KPI.
  • Plan and manage all current and future roadmaps on Network-related Budgets, including capitalization of Headcounts.
  • Lead meetings and produce presentations as needed for Supervisor and Top management.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Network Industry certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP), and Professional Security certification is highly desirable.
  • 7-8 years of experience in Corporate Network & Security.
  • 7-8 years of experience managing a team on Design, Delivery, and Operations.
  • Experience and knowledge in areas of Network, Firewalls, IPS, Load balancers, Authentication Systems, and IPAM.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Data Centre network & Security industry standards relevant to data communications/networking and computing.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) on Cisco ACI will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge on Security best practices and experience in Network solutioning, Operations, and Project Management.
  • Ability to direct project design and planning activities associated with complex or large-sized network infrastructure development projects.
  • Experience in dealing with vendors on technology and services.
