Nurturing Primary School Children in After-School Hours and Holidays
Job Description:We are seeking a caring, responsible, and proactive After-School Teacher to join our student care team. The successful candidate will check students' school bags for homework, supervise daily activities, conduct enrichment sessions, and plan engaging holiday programs aligned with the centre's curriculum and timetable.
- Supervise and manage a group of primary school children (ages 7–12) in a structured environment.
- Facilitate daily programs and activities according to the centre's timetable, including academic support and character development.
- Supervise students in completing homework.
- Plan and execute engaging and meaningful holiday programs that include educational excursions, workshops, and creative activities.
- Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour at all times.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and activities for students.
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching methods and approaches.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe, and organized environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification with passes in languages.
- Some experience working with children in different settings.
- Strong organisational, classroom management, and communication skills.
- Able to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Monday to Friday: 11am to 7pm
School holidays: 9am to 7pm
