Electrical Site Supervisor

This is a challenging role for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor who can lead teams and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical site works.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise transmission equipment installation works at client substations, including GIS, transformer, relay, and associated systems.
  • Ensure contractors comply with statutory safety regulations and in-house safety and quality standards.
  • Attend and conduct daily toolbox meetings to review work activities and risk mitigation.
  • Review method statements, safe work procedures, and risk assessments prior to work commencement.
  • Verify workers' safety credentials and enforce compliance.
  • Monitor and document work progress, safety observations, and incidents via digital platforms.
  • Operate and manage Body Worn Camera and verify contractor's CCTV system is functional before any work begins.
  • Submit weekly site reports and incident reports within 24 hours when required.
  • Liaise with contractors, project officers, and internal stakeholders on technical and safety issues.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant site supervision experience in electrical, substation, or transmission projects.
  • Familiar with electrical installation standards and construction safety practices.
  • Proficient in workplace safety procedures and documentation.
  • Must possess valid WSH Supervision certifications.
  • Able to travel across multiple worksites.
  • Strong reporting, observation, and communication skills.
