Electrical Memory Circuit Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled design engineer to join our elite team responsible for the development of cutting-edge AI foundation IP.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze various memory architectures and identify tradeoffs
- Design and develop memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor level
- Utilize transistor-level simulators to analyze and optimize circuit designs
- Extract layout and perform post-layout simulations and verification
- Implement floorplan physical design and layout integration of design components
- Develop characterization flow to extract timing and power information
- Create automation scripts to streamline characterization flow, simulations, and verification
- Specify and verify behavioral and physical memory models
- Document design specifications, behavioral descriptions, and timing diagrams
- Collaborate on silicon test plan and correlate silicon data with simulation results
This role requires a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing memory compilers and custom macros, as well as a deep understanding of transistor-level circuit behavior and device physics.
Skillset Required:- Strong expertise in memory compiler development and custom macro creation
- Deep comprehension of transistor-level circuit behavior and device physics
- Understanding of memory bitcell R/W margins and associated assist techniques
- Familiarity with signal integrity analysis, EM/IR analysis, and reliability analysis
- Knowledge of memory behavioral and physical models
- Awareness of DFT schemes and chip-level integration
- Proficiency in running simulators and writing automation scripts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Motivated and self-driven with strong multitasking abilities
