We're seeking a talented Open-Source Software Developer Advocate to join our team. As an advocate, you will play a key role in fostering engagement with our open-source community and developer-centric organizations.

The ideal candidate will be a programmer or developer with a passion for open-source software, experience working with real-world challenges developing and deploying software using Linux, and hands-on experience with Linux software packaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with open-source communities, software, and documentation contributors">
  • Engage in technical discussions and provide insights on open-source software trends and best practices">
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various teams to ensure consistent approaches and commonality in our developer experience">
  • Solve technical problems identified by users or colleagues">
  • Contribute to technical documentation and create engaging content for developers">
  • Identify new opportunities and directions for improvement in our developer experience">
