Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in our production department.

  1. Maintenance Training: Conduct training sessions for end users on maintenance procedures and best practices to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to perform routine checks and repairs.
  2. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and downtime. This includes identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.
  3. Facilities Planning: Plan and execute tasks related to facilities upgrade, repair, and maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and identify root causes to implement effective solutions.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance work, and inventory management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Spare Parts Management: Identify and procure critical spares for preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  7. Predictive Maintenance: Analyze equipment performance data to predict potential failures and schedule preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
  8. HSE Compliance: Ensure adherence to in-house safety rules and procedures by vendors and contractors.
  9. Contractor Supervision: Supervise contractors performing maintenance jobs to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.

Job Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Min Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
  2. Experience: Min 5 years working experience in CNC machines and equipment maintenance and repair works in the manufacturing environment. Additionally, min 5 years working experience in building facilities in the manufacturing environment.
