We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Cancer Patient Support Coordinator, joining our team at Ain Society.

Job Summary:

This position involves working closely with cancer patients and their families, providing essential support and care to enhance their overall well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in administrative duties, ensuring seamless coordination and organization within the department.
  • Gather accurate information and documentation from clients and their families, facilitating access to financial assistance programs.
  • Document case recordings comprehensively, accurately reflecting the support provided to each client.
  • Act as an advocate, promoting awareness for the needs of cancer patients and contributing to the development of effective support strategies.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and home visits, providing personalized support as instructed by the Cancer Navigator.
  • Support the preparation and logistics required to run successful programs and support groups, ensuring a positive experience for participants.
Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Service, or Community Health. Part-time undergraduates or individuals with relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will be open to working with clients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults.

Requirements:
  • Able to execute logistical duties efficiently for in-house and external programs.
  • Available to work on weekends as required, supporting outings with clients, support group sessions, and outreach programs.
  • Capable of travelling for home-visits.

Salary Information:

Based on industry standards and the level of expertise required for this role, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
