Dishware Attendant Job Description

As a Dishware Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our kitchen and dishwashing area.

  1. Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using industry-approved cleaning agents and equipment.
  2. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dishwashing area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  3. Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance tasks as required.
  4. Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment properly, minimizing waste and maintaining a tidy workspace.
  5. Remove trash, clean floors, and maintain overall kitchen sanitation, working closely with kitchen staff to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines at all times, reporting any incidents or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Requirements:

  1. No formal education requirement; basic literacy preferred.
  2. Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential.
  3. Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle moderate lifting.
  4. Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing time wisely.
  6. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
