Surface Mount Technology Operator

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines, including screen printers, pick-and-place, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI). This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to follow production schedules to meet daily output targets.

Duties:

  • Operate SMT machines, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.
  • Assist in machine setup, calibration, and minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Inspect assembled Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for solder quality and component alignment.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, maintaining accurate and timely production logs and reports.
  • Ensure work areas remain clean and organized, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • GCE 'O' level or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Prior experience in Electronics Manufacturing Industry is highly valued.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and assembly instructions in English.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proficiency in Mandarin and English.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Physically fit and willing to learn new skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary, contributing to the success of the organization.
