Lead Research Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Science Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing materials, apparatus, and Science labs for conducting Science experiments.
The role involves assisting teachers in science-related activities during lessons and enrichment lessons. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the Science apparatus, equipment, teaching and learning resources, and reporting any damages or faults to the relevant authorities.
Additionally, the Science Laboratory Assistant will administer the maintenance of the school eco-garden, including reporting the conditions of the plants to the relevant authorities. They will also arrange for the feeding of fish in the pond at the eco-garden and assist with the monitoring of the inventory for Science apparatus, equipment, teaching and learning resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full GCE N or O Level certificate or its equivalent.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good team player with high level of initiative.
- Preferably certified in basic First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- Preferably with relevant 5 years of work experience in primary school laboratory.
- Previous experience with hydroponics, veggie towers, vermicomposting, and mushroom cultivation is preferred.
