Mortgage Document Associate Specialist

Job Description:

As a Mortgage Document Associate Specialist, you will play a crucial role in accurately associating borrower-provided documentation to the appropriate underwriting conditions within the loan origination system.

Utilizing your exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of mortgage documentation, you will ensure that all documentation adheres to investor and company guidelines.

You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing borrower-provided documents to ensure completeness and relevance, accurately associating documents with the correct underwriting conditions in the system.

Additionally, you will verify that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and make necessary updates to the loan origination system.

Effective communication with internal teams is essential, as you will need to clarify documentation requirements and maintain productivity and quality standards set by management.

Supporting underwriters and processors by ensuring timely and accurate document association is also a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements include at least 2-3 years of experience in mortgage processing or document review, familiarity with mortgage documentation and underwriting conditions, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan origination systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively in a high-volume work environment.
