Job Summary

Deliver structural design and optimization of Low Voltage (LV) switchgear systems to meet specific client requirements.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to align global designs with regional market needs, demonstrating technical expertise and market awareness.

Provide expert guidance on the feasibility of engineering solutions and drive product development from initial concept design through prototype assembly and simulation.

  • Proficient in 3D design software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.

  • Possess strong knowledge of low-voltage (LV) switchgear systems, including competitive products and emerging technologies.

  • Bring over 5 years of design experience in LV switchgear systems, with the capability to independently customize and develop IEC LV switchgears.

  • Lead the design process with a focus on conceptual design, piece-part and assembly, drawings, bill of materials creation, and redesigning existing products to upgrade and adapt with new technology.

  • Define and execute type tests and routine tests for LV switchgear in compliance with relevant standards till pass test.

  • Collaborate with testing authorities to develop test plans, procedures, and documentation, and analyze results to drive design improvements.

  • Provide technical support to pre-sales and after-sales teams to enhance product competitiveness.

  • Work closely with quality and production teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product reliability.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Sciences, more than 5 years of LV switchgear experience, familiarity with mechanical design on low-voltage switchgear, proficiency in Inventor or Solidworks, and Autocad, good communication and learning skills, and detail-oriented work habits.
