
Aerospace Project Lead

Glamco Aviation is a leading solutions provider for the Aerospace, Commercial, Air & Maritime Traffic Management, and Defence & Security industries. We offer component repair and overhaul, spares support, specialized products, and consultancy services to aircraft operators, defence and security agencies, and civil airports and seaports.
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Project Lead to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from proposal development through project kickoff, initial design, development, testing, customer acceptance testing, and system maintenance.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring adherence to requirements.
- Collaborating with the Business Development Team to determine project scope.
- Leading, planning, executing, and commissioning projects within scope, schedule, and budget, managing resources and coordinating team efforts.
- Monitoring project progress, budget, resources, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope and requirements.
- Developing project control and reporting procedures, managing operational changes.
- Conducting project status reviews with team members and clients.
- Caching and advising team members to meet project goals and resolve technical issues.
- Performing system engineering, software testing, procurement, and creating project documentation.
- Coordinating hardware/software orders with distributors and partners.
- Developing project kickoff presentations covering scope, timelines, risks, stakeholders, etc.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops and meetings to advance project progress.
- Overseeing project closure and lessons learned sessions.
- Reporting to the Director and stakeholders on project delivery.
- Guiding technical staff in after-sales support and maintenance, overseeing incidents.
- Ensuring SLA and customer satisfaction levels are met.
- Developing and maintaining SOPs, processes, and guidelines.
- Researching new technologies to support programs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Communications, IT, or equivalent with experience in the SI industry.
- Minimum of 4 years in project management handling OT and/or IT systems for government projects.
- Knowledge of Radar or RF products is a plus.
- Experience with networking, firewalls, and IT systems is advantageous.
- CAPM certification or higher preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
- Hardware, software, and technical aptitude.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proactive, disciplined, good judgment, and eager to take on responsibilities.
- Willing to learn new technologies and work under pressure.
- Available for weekend and overtime work.
- Willing to travel overseas as required.
- Possess a Class 3 Manual driving license.
