Job Role

The Staff Electrical Engineer position is responsible for the creation of printer systems, leading technical initiatives and assisting team members as required. The role involves overseeing new projects, undertaking project tasks, and participating in product development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop printer systems, including completion of product test cases and engineering test reports.
  • Provide technical leadership, assistance or advice to other team members, and participate in project tasks.
  • Study product and hardware specifications, and provide technical and documentation support for production sample/prototype build during development stage.
  • Perform tests and guide other electrical engineers according to test plans, making test reports for future reference.
  • Create, update, and/or check schematic, assembly drawings/Bill of Material and parts drawing.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in product design and development works for Electrical & Electronic.
  • Experience in product design and development works, microcontroller/microprocessor-based design, familiar with mechanical control, interface (SPI, I2C, RS232, Parallel, USB, and SATA) will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese language is a must to liaise with Japan headquarters.
