Job Overview

The role of a Credit Risk Approver is crucial in evaluating and managing the bank's credit risk exposure. As a key member of the Credit Risk team, you will be responsible for performing thorough credit risk evaluations and providing recommendations on credit applications.

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and structure credit solutions that meet their requirements. Your expertise in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance will be essential in justifying rejections and alternative resolutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on credit applications across different segments of the bank
  • Review and evaluate credit risk gradings and justify rejections and alternative resolutions
  • Abide by delegated and product limits, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on market, business, and industry trends, handling related operational aspects
RequirementsQualifications
  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance, or Economics
Experience
  • At least 10 years of credit risk experience in Corporate/SME banking
Skills
  • Strong knowledge in credit underwriting and financial analysis, interpreting financial statements, and basic financial accounting knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of credit-related regulations
