Freight Container Handling Equipment Specialist

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Container Handling Equipment Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and providing technical support on freight container handling equipment in ports across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commission and troubleshoot freight container handling equipment at ports across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Provide on-site training and technical support to clients.
  • Collaborate with designers and factory personnel to address any issues found on site.
  • Develop proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service.
  • Assist sales teams with compiling quotes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Min Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years' experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
  • Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics, and electrical & hydraulic controls & feedback.
  • Ability to travel at short notice in the region.
Benefits and Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be based in either Singapore or the United Arab Emirates, depending on the region assigned.

They will work primarily on the Port of Neom in Saudi Arabia or in ports across Asia and Australia.

They will be required to travel extensively within the assigned region.
