Energy Systems Manager

Main Responsibilities include maintain and monitor complex systems, responsible for technical support for complex problems, ensuring system performance throughout the contract. The role collates and evaluates statistical data related to system performance and supports data analytics with ongoing improvement on automation of data gathering, analysis and reporting.
Manage Responses to Emergency Situations:
Facilitate responses to emergency situations and recovery activities, evaluating and providing fast resolution to critical field performance issues. Visit sites to diagnose operational issues and develop resolution plans for complex cases that cannot be easily resolved. Review and approve recommended repair works for major equipment failures.
Provide Oversight on Maintenance Work:
The role is responsible for planning corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment and client systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition. Optimise maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems to minimise downtime and costs. Provide technical guidance on equipment and systems maintenance and endorse resourcing requirements to achieve operational state.
Organise and Develop the Team:
Coach and train engineers, drive talent recruitment and development for the department in alignment with organisational strategy. Qualifications include a diploma/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Energy or Environmental Engineering. Possess people management experience and 2-5 years' experience in an Energy or Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
