Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include researching and evaluating potential suppliers, developing new vendors, and liaising with operations teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and procuring materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements
  • Researching and evaluating potential suppliers
  • Developing new vendors and relationships with existing ones
  • Liaising with operations teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Generating purchase orders and forwarding them to respective suppliers
  • Expediting and following up with suppliers for on-time delivery to support operations
  • Coordinating with stores to check stock levels as required and place orders as needed
  • Preparing and distributing procurement and delivery reports to respective departments timely
Requirements
  • Possess good analytical and organizational skills
  • Result-oriented team player with good interpersonal skills and desire to strive continuous improvement
  • Possess initiative, keen to learn with a can-do attitude and good team player
  • Able to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
