Quantitative Strategist for Equities

As a Quantitative Strategist, you will play a key role in supporting the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) office by conducting quantitative research and analysis on equities. Your work will provide actionable insights and recommendations that translate into portfolio actions and enhance our investment process.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting quantitative research and analysis to understand how macro drivers such as interest rates and inflation affect companies and incorporate this understanding into your analysis.
- Utilizing quantitative and network information to perform sensitivity and impact analysis of events and reporting.
- Performing ongoing portfolio risk and performance monitoring through the team's quantitative portfolio diagnostic analytics framework.
- Applying behavioral analytics to help portfolio managers and analysts make better decisions and improve their research quality.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Advanced degree in fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Economics.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience in quantitative research and analysis.
- Strong expertise in quantitative capital allocations, portfolio construction and risk analysis.
- Proficiency in R or Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand, influence, and obtain buy-in from stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
