Wafer Probe Integration Professional

 

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deploying wafer probe equipment and processes used in global manufacturing locations with a focus on high-bandwidth memory.

Key aspects of the position include:

  • Equipment Deployment:
  • Deploy first-of-a-kind equipment and process capabilities through evaluations of wafer probers, testers, and probe cards.
  • Process Development:
  • Collaborate with global teams to establish and implement best-known method probe processes globally.
  • Supplier Engagement:
  • Engage equipment suppliers and vendors to address issues of quality, performance, and change management.
  • Metric Establishment:
  • Establish manufacturing metrics to drive continuous improvement of equipment performance and processes.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Develop and deploy new methods or processes as necessary to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Specifications Development:
  • Generate equipment specifications to meet safety and capability requirements of global manufacturing environments.
  • Manufacturing Support:
  • Support the development and integration of first-of-a-kind equipment and processes for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Perform statistical analysis of manufacturing data to ensure that processes meet required quality standards.
  • Communication:
  • Effectively prepare and present information to manufacturing teams and engineering managers.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with peer groups in other functional areas including manufacturing, test engineering, process engineering, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Engineering Fundamentals:
  • Excellent grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in thermal systems, machine design, electro-mechanical controls and components, electrical circuits, materials selection, and mechanical stress analysis.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and design of experiments.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB, SolidWorks, and Tableau.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of semiconductor processes and semiconductor device test methodology.

Education:

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.
