Crypto Product Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Risk Manager to join our Enterprise Risk Team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in enterprise and product risk management, with exposure to crypto risk, market/trading risks, and emerging technology risk.
This role involves leading and executing risk and control assessments across the product lifecycle. The candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to review new product initiatives and ensure comprehensive risk identification and mitigation planning.
The successful candidate will drive the implementation of a scalable Product Governance Framework, embedding risk management principles into key decision-making and development processes. They will maintain robust risk documentation within the enterprise GRC system and support the preparation of regular and ad-hoc standardized product risk reports.
Key responsibilities include monitoring external events and evaluating their implications on current and upcoming product offerings. The candidate will lead or contribute to strategic risk initiatives and cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing risk culture, resilience, and accountability across the product portfolio.
Required skills and qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in product risk management, with at least 2 years focused on cryptocurrency or digital asset risk.
• Proven experience in conducting product risk assessments, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital platforms, product development cycles, and associated risks (e.g., technology, market, operational, and compliance risks).
• Proven experience with risk frameworks, stress testing, and scenario analysis in the context of digital assets.
• Understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements related to crypto assets.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influence skills with the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
