As a Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and enhancement of our data warehouse systems, guiding data engineers in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, and promoting visibility through regional metric measurements and insights across business functions and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of data warehouse system development, including technical design, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Be the main contact with Product, Business, and Engineering stakeholders to define and review technical specifications.
  • Guide data engineers in designing and implementing scalable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs, data models, scripts, and data assets.
  • Promote visibility through regional metric measurements and insights across business functions and teams.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for change management, documentation, and data protocols.
  • Develop dashboards and monitoring for system metrics and thresholds.
  • Contribute to technical and product discussions, code reviews, and solution implementations.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of practical work experience overseeing the development, testing, deployment, and support of large-scale data warehouse systems.
  • Experience guiding a team and making sound technical decisions.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing, data modelling, and big data concepts.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spark, Airflow, Hive, Flink, and Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Python, Scala, or SQL.
  • Experience developing end-to-end data solutions using AWS.
