Electrical Drafter and Tender Administrator

We are seeking an experienced electrical drafter and tender administrator to perform a variety of technical tasks at our organization.

  • Prepare, update, and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD (or AutoCAD Electrical).
  • Develop wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable routing, panel layouts, and lighting/power layouts.
  • Convert engineers' sketches, concepts, and redlines into accurate technical drawings
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure accurate design.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams for clash-free layouts.
  • Incorporate site feedback and updates into final drawings.
  • Prepare shop drawings for authority submission and site use.
  • Generate cable schedules and termination details.

This role is responsible for preparing and revising electrical drawings, developing wiring diagrams, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate design and clash-free layouts.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. They will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other drafters to ensure that all drawings are accurate and up-to-date.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including:

  • Preparing electrical drawings and revisions
  • Developing wiring diagrams and SLDs
  • Converting engineers' sketches and concepts into technical drawings
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure clash-free layouts
  • Preparing shop drawings and cable schedules
