Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials and equipment. This role will involve developing new vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Source and procure materials and equipment according to project requirements, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Vendor Development: Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, while identifying new vendors to meet our growing needs.
  • Liaising with Suppliers: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, operations teams, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Purchase Orders: Generate purchase orders and forward them to respective suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Delivery Coordination: Expedite and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, supporting our operations team.
  • Stock Levels: Coordinate with the store team to check stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute procurement and delivery reports to respective departments in a timely manner.
  • Market Price Monitoring: Keep abreast of market prices and conduct regular price comparisons to ensure we get the best value for our business.
