Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at WOH HUP (PRIVATE) LIMITED. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior/Technical Manager in ensuring structural analysis and design compliance for our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in design and construction. You will be well-versed in structure analysis and design software such as ORION, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, PLAXIS, and have experience with Autocad and BIM software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structure analysis and ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Provide technical engineering information to ensure design instructions are met.
  • Coordinate with Design Engineer for precast design conceptualization and connection detailing.
  • Produce precast layout plans and fabrication shop drawings for production and submission to clients.
  • Perform design for precast components, including demoulding, transportation, and hoisting stages.
  • Check and highlight discrepancies between Structural, Architectural, and M&E drawings to finalize precast shop drawings for production.
  • Ensure precast design and drawings are in compliance with standards.
  • Prepare method statements for precast components.
  • Involved in quantity and cost estimation.
  • Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited Universities.
  • Experience: Prior 6 to 8 years of experience in design and construction.
  • Well-versed in structure analysis and design software.
  • Autocad and BIM software experience preferred.
  • Technical Competencies: Technical expertise and knowledge in Foundation, Structural, and Civil works.
