Science Educator Position

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating an engaging learning environment for middle-grade students. We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach all areas of Lower Secondary Science, spanning Years 6-8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the academic and pastoral progress of a class of middle-grade students.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students within the class.
  • Motivate students through enthusiastic and imaginative class activities.
  • Prepare, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work to facilitate positive development.
  • Meet assessment requirements, accurately record, evaluate, and report on student progress.
  • Provide regular feedback to parents regarding student progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in any allied science education and teaching or equivalent.
  • Essential: Degree of any related Science Studies.
  • At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in any international schools in Singapore.
  • Preferred: Pedagogical Certification Qualifications (e.g., CICTL).

Additional Information:

  • Experience with other international curricula (e.g., Cambridge/IB PYP, MYP, DP, IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE) is advantageous.
