Electrical Systems Engineer

Join a dynamic team of professionals to explore the exciting world of electrical systems engineering. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security systems, BMS (Building Management Systems), and backup power
  • Manage and maintain building services such as power outlets, fire alarm systems, security systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and backup power systems (generators)
  • Diagnose and identify faults in complex electrical engineering systems, building installations, plant, and equipment
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical assets to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Review pre-handover documents and operation and maintenance manuals for electrical systems
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues, ranging from minor faults to complex system failures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to in-house maintenance technicians and external contractors
  • Review electrical documents, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and ensure compliance with designs and specifications
  • Prepare technical reports and feasibility studies for electrical projects and improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering within a facility management or building services environment
  • Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) is highly preferred; relevant certifications in facility management (e.g., CFME) are a plus
