Financial Analyst Job Description

The Treasury Client Solutions Department at IFC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their team in Singapore. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for contributing to the structuring of hedging and funding transactions, supporting traders in the execution of hedging transactions, and providing analytical and transactional support for IFC's local currency bond issuances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the structuring of hedging and funding transactions through derivatives and capital markets instruments.
  • Support traders in the execution of hedging transactions.
  • Provide analytical and transactional support for IFC's local currency bond issuances.
  • Build and adapt financial models associated with the structuring and pricing of transactions.
  • Conduct market research in local and international debt capital markets.
  • Contribute to business development and the marketing of treasury products to clients.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including international investment banks, local banks, capital market firms, investors, and regulators.
  • Provide analytics for investment committees and prepare memos for internal approvals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, financial engineering, financial economics, statistics, actuarial science, mathematics, or engineering.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in fixed income and/or structured finance within an investment bank, rating agency, or other capital-markets-related entity.
  • Experience in emerging markets and/or familiarity with IFC's investment process would be a plus.
  • Knowledge about South and/or East Asian derivatives and structured products markets is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented self-starter with a proven capacity for teamwork.
  • Strong data analysis and financial modelling skills and advanced Excel, Bloomberg, and Reuters knowledge.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Additional language skills would be a plus.
