Senior mechanical engineers play a pivotal role in the oversight of construction projects, specifically focusing on infrastructure development. As part of this team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding junior engineers to ensure the successful execution of mechanical works. Your key responsibilities include site supervision, inspections, contract management, and defect identification.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead site supervision teams for all mechanical and building construction activities.
• Conduct thorough site inspections to identify defects and oversee rectification works.
• Collaborate with contractors to address queries, assess method statements, and coordinate with other discipline engineers.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a good graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably recognized by professional engineering boards. You should have at least 10 years of experience in supervising mechanical works in construction projects, particularly in water or used water treatment works. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
