We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory diagnostic procedures and related activities to provide a quality laboratory service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process laboratory specimens, ensuring they are suitable for analysis.
  • Operate the Laboratory Information System to perform functions such as result query, order entry, and result entry.
  • Perform waived tests and moderate complexity tests, adhering to laboratory protocols.
  • Alert laboratory personnel of critical values and report any adverse incidents to senior staff.
  • Prepare reagents and materials that require special handling to ensure reliability.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide support as needed.
  • Perform shift duties as required and undertake preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
  • Notify laboratory personnel when laboratory instruments malfunction or require maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with new instrumentation, techniques, and procedures through workshops, seminars, and in-service education classes.
  • Evaluate new laboratory test methodologies and demonstrate laboratory procedures to trainees and new staff.
  • Guide Laboratory Technicians, Clerical Staff, and Health Attendants in their work when required.
  • Participate in routine laboratory administrative work, such as filling and processing deliveries orders and invoices.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or Biomedical Science.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
