Medical Device Inspector

Job Description:
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing devices in-process and upon completion to ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. This includes verifying that devices meet operational standards as designed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and/or finished medical device products using various tools and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications.
- Conduct functional testing of finished medical device products using both automated and manual valve testing equipment.
- Verify quality records, including Device History Records review and product release for interplant shipment or distribution.
- May control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Secondary Education
- Previous manufacturing and QC experience, preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English, and good communication skills, required
- Basic computer skills, preferred
- High manual dexterity and ability to use applicable tools and equipment
- Basic level of understanding of inspection procedures
