About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Software Engineer to join our Global Banking Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions in a.NET environment to improve the productivity of our GCIB Bankers.

The successful candidate will have a strong command of English and be able to communicate effectively with our LOB and Global Technology partners. You will be involved in Program Increment and Sprint Planning, refining and estimating stories/tasks to accomplish agreed-upon business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions in a.NET environment to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the front-line business, COO team, and product owners to execute projects and discuss priorities.
  • Participate in joint sessions/working groups to discuss technical solutions within an integrated team.
  • Manage sprint deliverables and communicate risks or impediments to the team.
  • Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in full stack development with.NET, C#, HTML/CSS, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and/or Oracle Database.
  • Demonstratable experience with Entity Framework and thread modeling for Database calls using LINQ.
  • Experience with container environments, e.g., Kubernetes, utilizing tools such as OpenShift or Docker.
  • Demonstratable experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, e.g., Angular, JQuery.
  • Possess a functional understanding of APIs to integrate systems using a wide variety of protocols, e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, gRPC.
  • A solid understanding of front-end design patterns and principles: Responsive Web Design, MVC, Server-side vs. Client-side rendering.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools, e.g., Jenkins, and source control tools for branching/merging, e.g., Git, BitBucket, Subversion.
  • Experience working with DevOps, Agile tools, e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, nUnit, jUnit, XL Release, and development methodologies, e.g., Scrum and Kanban.
