Job Title: SDLC Platform Engineer

Job Description:

As an SDLC Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our modernization initiative for our strategic, highly scalable, and resilient platform using cutting-edge technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, expertise in commercial / open source build systems, and knowledge of software change management systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and documenting high-quality code in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the modernization of SDLC platforms to be standardized, scalable, available, and resilient.
  • Design, develop, test, and document high-quality code in a structured, disciplined, and fast-moving environment.
  • Excel at building strong relationships with other engineers and enjoy collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in one or more scripted and compiled programming languages (go/erlang, java, python).
  • Expertise in commercial / open source build systems (Gradle / Bazel / Make) and strong knowledge of software change management systems.
  • Prior experience of DevOps, SRE, infrastructure (storage / networks / etc.).
  • Knowledgeable about running key business applications on Linux platforms and Linux internals.
  • General knowledge of multiple languages, and in-depth knowledge of at least one of: Golang, Erlang, Java, Python, C++.
