**Electrical Design Engineer Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead bigger projects in the Design Department. This role involves planning, allocating, and assigning jobs to subordinates, as well as checking and approving design drawings and documents produced by subordinate staffs.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' electrical design experience in the electrical engineering industry, with knowledge of switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) design being an advantage. A diploma in Electrical Engineering is also required.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead bigger projects of the Design Department
- Plan, allocate, and assign jobs to subordinates and be accountable for entire team's assigned project result
- Check and approve design drawings and documents produced by subordinate staffs
- Implement and control the Design Control functions and quality system of the total Quality Management System
- Prepare material requisition lists for job requirements
- Design electrical switchboards, consoles, and control panels according to customer's requirements and standards
- At least 5 years' electrical design experience in electrical engineering industry
- Knowledge of switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) design is an advantage
- At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 5-days work week from 8.15am to 5.45pm
