Equities Settlement Officer

We're seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as an Officer, Equities Settlement - Hybrid. In this role, you'll be responsible for trade pre-matching and settlement in APAC markets. You'll liaise with agent banks, brokers, and sales and trading desks to follow up on potential fails prior to settlement date. You'll also relay unmatched and settlement risk items to trade support and front office to avoid failure or buy-in. Additionally, you'll resolve settlement-related issues and escalate as needed, recommending solutions to resolve complex issues. You'll participate in the implementation of assigned projects, including new products, services, and upgrades to platforms. You'll identify policy gaps and formulate new policies to enhance the streamlining of trade flow processes. You'll monitor and provide solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank. You'll also provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to junior members. As a successful candidate, you'll have a fundamental understanding of Equities, Fixed Income, Treasury products, accounting, and regulatory policies. You'll have proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment. You'll consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. You'll have a Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
