Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Specialist

As an Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of all M&E works at site. This includes coordinating and executing various tasks related to infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.
  • Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.
  • Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.
  • Check and prepare material samples with shop drawing submissions.
  • Chair M&E coordination meetings.
  • Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.
  • Assess, prepare, and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and assist site superintendents on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
  • Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized University.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in coordination of M&E works with different trades (e.g., C&S & Archi) and other stakeholders (e.g., consultant and subcontractors) for large-scale building projects with an A1 main contractor.
  • Candidates with either mixed development, condominium, or data center projects would have an added advantage.
  • Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications.
  • Understand BIM concept and be able to supervise and push for M&E works to be completed timely with relevant stakeholders.
  • Able to manage and solve complex problems at site.
  • Understand all essential code of practices and relevant authority requirements for submissions of documents and inspections.
  • Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept.
