Job Title: Built Heritage Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Built Heritage Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in built heritage, architecture, or a related field.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting heritage assessments and surveys, preparing comprehensive heritage assessment reports, and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed heritage assessment reports, including Heritage Statements, Statements of Significance, Impact Reports, and Building Recording Reports.
  • Conduct thorough archival research and prepare desk-based assessments to inform project delivery.
  • Carry out site surveys and visits to libraries or archives to gather essential information.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and identify opportunities for improving heritage sites.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as designers, engineers, and environmental specialists, to deliver high-quality projects that benefit both clients and the environment.
  • Manage heritage surveys, including condition assessments and building recording, to ensure accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to contribute to high-quality project work and professional growth.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is passionate about built heritage and has excellent communication and project management skills.

Please note that applicants without experience will be considered if they have a strong academic background and are willing to learn and develop their skills.
