Job Description:

The role of the transportation professional is to ensure a safe and efficient experience for clients, transporting them to and from designated locations in a timely manner. This involves adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring that all necessary safety equipment is available and functioning properly.

In addition to this, the driver must regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, including checking the condition of the tires, brakes, and other critical systems. The goal is to ensure that the vehicle is always in good working order, ready for the next operation.

The transportation professional will also be responsible for performing daily preventive checks on the vehicle and its equipment, to guarantee that it is in optimal condition for the next working day. In the event of an emergency, the driver should follow the established Contingency Plan and Transport Standard Operation Procedure.

Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle, as well as providing assistance with transporting services within the organization's request. This may involve tasks such as banking, mailing, and hand delivery of documents to various premises.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position. A valid Class 3 driving license with a good driving record is also essential. Additionally, applicants should be able to communicate and read in simple English.

While not required, possessing First Aid/AED/CPR certification is highly desirable. Good public relations skills are also crucial, as is being mature and pleasant. The ability to start work on short notice is also a valuable asset.
