Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Group Strategic Projects, this position entails delivering high-quality industry assessments, analyzing operational and financial performance of Singtel Group and its competitors, and independently crafting strategic insights to propel one of the team's primary objectives – transformation and growth.

Contribute to Our Success by:

  • Conducting comprehensive market and competitor analysis to identify and articulate critical industry trends and disruptions; developing financial models and analyses to support insights.
  • Maintaining an external perspective on the Group's financial and share-price performance, including understanding Singtel's growth strategies and key business drivers, staying updated on significant deals and transactions, and monitoring analyst reports.
  • Independently devising project analyses and execution plans that align with business unit and/or Group mid- to long-term objectives.
  • Autonomously engaging with mid to senior-level stakeholders to validate assumptions, findings, and present conclusions to ensure alignment and support.
  • Mentoring junior team members in managing strategic projects, including gathering, verifying, and analyzing information while independently forming insights.

Essential Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in business planning, consulting, strategy, or business transformation.
  • Proficiency in Business Analytics and Insights (utilizing Bloomberg, Cap IQ, or other relevant databases).
  • Experience in Business Strategy planning and execution.
  • Expertise in Financial Modeling and Analysis.
  • Adaptability to perform in unstructured or ambiguous environments as business needs evolve.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing business conditions.
  • Excellent and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
