About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Storage Engineer to join our team at Encora Technologies PTE. LTD. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage storage systems for our clients, ensuring data is stored efficiently, securely, and reliably.

As a Data Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and deploying storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and object storage. You will also monitor, maintain, and optimize storage systems for performance, capacity, and availability.

In addition, you will implement data backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions. Your expertise in troubleshooting will help identify and resolve storage-related issues. You will also forecast storage needs and plan for upgrades and expansions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in storage engineering, system administration, or a related field.

You should have knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, is also required.

Certifications in storage-related areas, cloud computing, and other relevant fields are a plus. Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Windows, Linux, and other operating systems is highly desirable.
